Cassel's Plumbing & Gas

Privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy explains how Clayton Cassel trading as Cassel's Plumbing & Gas (ABN 57 965 776 592) ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, suburb, the service you need and, if you choose to give them, your email address, a description of the job, your preferred timing and photos. To protect against spam and fake enquiries we also record the page you sent the enquiry from, your IP address, its approximate location and network provider, and your device and browser type. If an enquiry looks automated, you may be asked to complete a quick "not a robot" check provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. If analytics is switched on, we collect anonymous usage information such as pages visited and whether a call or quote button was used.

Why we collect it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry (including a confirmation email if you gave us your email address), check that enquiries are legitimate, quote and carry out the work, and keep records of jobs we have done. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered to our business email inbox. To run this website and deliver enquiries we use service providers including Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection), an email delivery provider and Google (email and, if enabled, analytics and maps). Some of these providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not otherwise disclose your information unless the law requires it.

Photos

Please only send photos of the plumbing or gas issue. Avoid including people or anything personal. Photos are used only to understand and quote the job.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them for the work, warranty and our legal and tax obligations, then delete them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by calling 0447 006 707. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
